Marmot Basin

Located in the breathtaking Jasper National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Marmot Basin is one of Edmonton’s favourite ski and snowboard destinations. Only 20 minutes from the town of Jasper, Marmot Basin offers 914 vertical meters (3,000 ft) of superb skiing and snowboarding on 696 hectares (1,720 acres) of varied terrain.

Marmot Basin is our exclusive daytrip destination, meaning we go here every single weekend! The mountain is beginner friendly with a welcoming 30% green runs but can still cater to those looking for a challenge. Close and well varied, Marmot basin is your families’ go to alpine playground.

Lake Louise Ski Resort

Spectacular scenery awaits you at Lake Louise Ski Resort with uniquely beautiful terrain that is both vast and varied. The wilderness is pristine and inspirational. Located in the heart of historic Banff National Park, Lake Louise is truly legendary and offers world class terrain. With an extraordinary 1,619 skiable hectares (4,000 acres), Lake Louise is one of the largest ski areas in North America.

Just 5 hours from Edmonton, Lake Louise is a great choice for Edmonton riders! With 145 named runs, Lake Louise may seem overwhelming, but there is plenty of terrain for beginners, and every skill level for that matter.

Banff Sunshine Village

Banff Sunshine Village has one of the longest ski seasons in Canada, running annually from mid-November until late May. Located at 2,200 vertical meters (7,200 ft), the average 9 meters (30 ft) of snow stays light, dry and soft!

Sunshine also has Canada’s only heated chair lift, perfect for keeping you warm between runs on those crisp Alberta days!

Castle Mountain Resort

Castle Mountain Resort is Alberta’s second largest ski resort and boasts 8 epic mountain bowls across 2 mountains. Castle is a community-run resort with over 200 predominantly local shareholders that aim to continually enhance the resort!

Be sure to check out the Tamarack Chair (aka the “red” chair) for an epic variety of chutes to choose from. If you’re looking for even more challenge, you can check out the Powder Stagecoach for an exclusive Cat skiing experience.

Fernie Alpine Resort

Fernie Alpine Resort provides visitors legendary powder, uncrowded trails, mild climate, the best in Après ski fun and much more! Fernie receives up to 9 meters (30 ft) of snow in a season, and attracts a wide range of skiers and riders. Delivering over 1,000 hectares (2,500 acres) of skiable terrain and 5 alpine bowls, Fernie is a true winter playground for skiers and riders of all levels.

There are 142 runs here with a full 70% for blue and green skiers. Fernie is friendly and spectacular! Their tagline is “legendary powder” for good reason. More on Fernie.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort

Revelstoke Mountain Resort holds the Canadian record for snowfall at 24 meters (80ft) in one season and have an average snowfall of 10.5 meters (34ft) of powder every season! For decades, all types of skiers have flocked to Revelstoke, attracted by its perfect powder, varied alpine terrain and quaint mountain community. Revelstoke boasts the highest descent in North America at 1,713 metres (5,620 ft) of lift-accessed terrain!

Revelstoke has been locked in as a “Weekender” destination for many years now. We like to change up our epic weekender destinations to give customers a wide range of ski memories, but Revelstoke is simply too good to be replaced.

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort

Kicking Horse Mountain Resort is known as “The Champagne Powder Capital of Canada.” It’s every skiers dream with lots of big terrain for those on the hunt, long cruisers for those looking for the relaxing experience and everything in between. With over 85 inbound chutes, Kicking Horse is a resort you won’t soon forget!

Plus, don’t miss out on eating at Canada’s most elevated dining experience – Eagle’s Eye Restaurant. Located at almost 2,400 vertical meters (7,700 ft), you only have to take one lift to reach this unique dining experience.

Kimberley Alpine Resort

Kimberley Alpine Resort has incredible ski-in ski-out accommodations in the mountain village of Kimberley, BC. Mild average temperatures of -5°C and 80 total runs (12 of which are in the Glades), makes Kimberley an ideal location for your winter getaway!

New this season, Kimberley looks to be a new favourite across the board!

Panorama Mountain Resort

Panorama Mountain Village is a completely self-contained ski in/ski out resort. Visitors from around the world come for world-class skiing, snowboarding, and heli-skiing. With more than 1,200 hectares (2,975 acres) of terrain, it’s not until you reach the summit of Panorama that the scale of the resort becomes apparent.

Because of Panorama’s vast on-mountain village, it’s an attractive destination for both school and corporate groups. It gives that true resort feel and delivers customer service that’s hard to beat.

RED Mountain Resort

RED Mountain Resort is located along the epic Powder Highway and has something for everyone! With over 1,550 hectares (3,850 acres), RED is the last “great, unspoiled” resort. Their mild winters make it easy to enjoy their incredible terrain.

RED has over 120 years of ski history in their roots and the first ski lodge built in 1947 still serves as the main lodge at the base of the mountain (with some renovations and additions, of course). Although this ski destination is a bit further than what we normally do by bus, it’s well worth the drive! 

Whitewater Ski Resort

Whitewater Ski Resort is renowned for receiving over 12 meters (40 feet) of light, dry powder snow every season! Located just 20 minutes from the vibrant town of Nelson, Whitewater boasts an incredible mix of bowls and glades.

Another Powder Highway destination that is a bit further by bus, but the snow and terrain will make you want to make the drive every season!
